a new Carl Strong Foco Racing Frame…

So after a long deliberation, I came to the hard conclusion that the black Strong Custom Blend was just too big for me, so enter the new to me Strong Racing Frame made out of triple butted Columbus Foco main tubes.

I’ve gone a different path with this one, originally I was just going to swap everything over. But once I got the frame, started putting things on, they just didn’t fit the spirit of the bike. So out with the old and in with the new.

So far I’ve accumulated a new saddle, the Brooks Cambium C13 carbon racing saddle, a custom made PMP Carbon Seatpost with a silver head and custom 300mm length, and another gorgeous Smud Carbon front derailleur clamp (this one custom made in the required 28.6 diameter).

Lots more in the works, a new wheelset even (or at least new rims, money dictating), and eventually a new 2016 (or so) Chorus Groupset.
