just a small update with some mediocre pictures, got the majority of the groupset for the Klein Quantum Race in the mail yesterday, got a deal on it to boot.
working on getting the wheels together next, though i’d also like to finish the Trek 750 Touring bike (all it needs is brakes, a SRAM adapter kit from Chris King for the bottom bracket, and a chain to be rideable), and get some wider tires for the for the Gunnar.

so, i finished getting the Volpe rideable as of yesterday… or maybe the day before, time is irrelevant 😉 anyhow, i got the SRAM X9 long cage rear derailleur on there with connected to the cranks by a KMC DX10SC 10spd chain. i ran into some issues with the top rear of the derailleurs cage…
