so this is one of my latest “un-published” projects, well, the only one, haha, this one being for my girlfriend Olivia. all of these shots were done on my new Sony A7R, so cut me some slack 😉 it’s going to take a bit to learn all of the functions (as I just got the camera yesterday and I’ve been a solely Nikon shooter for the past, oh, I don’t know, 15 or 20 years). I’m also getting used to how the lenses shoot; what f stop they prefer, blur, shake, etc.

thus far it’s really very basic (from front to back), Avid Single Digit Ultimate V-Brakes (from my 750 which has gotten MiniMoto’s from Paul Component Engineering), a modified Soma Quill Riser stem (hacked off several inches and used a different quill bolt), vintage Shimano 1″ XT headset, Vuelta 1″ spacers, Thomson 70mm x 10? X2 stem, Nitto Mustache bars with a Problem Solvers 26 to 31.8mm shim, Jagwire housing, Blackburn bottle cages, Thomson 26.8 seatpost, Terry Butterfly X saddle, and some vintage Shimano XT skewers.

the wheelset is just temporary, cool though, but I will be building up a Shimano Alfine Dynamo/Alfine 8 wheelset to replace it, I haven’t decided quite yet on rims.

it should be a very comfy and fun bike 🙂 more, of course, as I get to it,
-peter
