just a shot from tonight in the garage, threw the tank back on, as it’s been sitting on the floor of the garage because i had it off to make the cam swap easier.

got my 110mm 10? Thomson X4 stem, the Chris King 1 1/8 2Nut Conversion, and my M770 XT 11-34 cassette. it’s finally starting to look like a bike! figured i’d get a little more progress up, since i’ll be heading off to PA again come tuesday, wheelset ordering / building when i get back! 😀…

finished up the cam swap today, swapping in first generation sv650 intake cams into the exhaust side of my second generation sv650, it adds a couple bhp and smooths out the powerband; another zoran masterpiece of engineering. later, -peter
the Trek project is slowly progressing, some winter trip plans haven’t helped it’s forward momentum, but i’m excited for them none-the-less. what we have here though is a set of Paul Components Neo-Retro cantilever brakes. Eventually the Trek will follow in the footsteps of the Volpe Build with a pair of Paul Brake Boosters, one…
small update… the frame is now in the care of R+E Cycles up in Seattle, should be about two to three weeks before i see it again.. getting the dent filled and the new cable stops brazed-on (replacing the top cable guides). can’t wait! in the meantime i’ll just have to comfort myself by purchasing…
