the sv has gained some new brake calipers for the front end, a set of 2008 tokico monoblock’s off of the newer cbr1000rr and man, do they look good, need to figure out spacer size, looks like, as zoran told me, 10mm spacers will be required. more when there is more, but all hope for…
so i got bored yesterday and hacked off a section of the Bianchi Volpe’s steerer tube. i was actually really hesitant to do it, but the positioning felt good and i was, as i said before, bored. thankfully though i had a bit of forethought as to potential re-positioning, so i added another 5mm spacer…
finished up the cam swap today, swapping in first generation sv650 intake cams into the exhaust side of my second generation sv650, it adds a couple bhp and smooths out the powerband; another zoran masterpiece of engineering. later, -peter

parts are starting to add up, finally it’s staring to resemble a bike! waiting on an XT M770 11-34 cassette, an XTR M791 GS rear derailleur, the Chris King 1 1/8 2Nut Conversion, and the Thomson 110mm x 10? X4 stem. next on the list, building the wheelset… mmm, sexy 650b’s…. -peter
