so, i finished getting the Volpe rideable as of yesterday… or maybe the day before, time is irrelevant 😉 anyhow, i got the SRAM X9 long cage rear derailleur on there with connected to the cranks by a KMC DX10SC 10spd chain. i ran into some issues with the top rear of the derailleurs cage…
so i have some parts for sale from the Bianchi Volpe as well… Shimano XTR M971 SGS rear derailleur $80 (there’s one gouge that i found, you can see in the closeup shot, to the right of the big X, it was touched up by the previous owner) SRAM 1050 Cassette 11-36 $40 (literally maybe…
so here it is, all buttoned up, a few compromises, but with all the projects i have going on, that’s ok 😉 no headlight or taillight yet, but those will come eventually, dynamo front, probably battery rear to reduce all that wiring. let me know what you think! -peter

A big update here. So, the big reveal! Haha, or something like that. Two and half weeks ago I spent an afternoon packing the fork, stem, spacers, and frame together and I shipped it all down to Ruckus Composites in Portland, OR to have it all paint matched to the frame. Less than a week…
